Meet The Techs

Stephen Sparks

A graduate of Bacone College in Muskogee, OK, Stephen has over 25 years of experience in radiology, 17 of which has been spent here at TDI. He is an Army veteran who loves hunting, fishing on his boat, grilling, and spending time with his family.

Nicole Ross

A graduate of Tulsa Tech, Nicole has over 18 years of experience in radiology and is the newest member of the TDI family.  She loves traveling, restoring furniture, and spending time with her family, which includes an array of animals.

What is an MRI?

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a painless procedure that produces a finely detailed image, allowing your physician to see inside your body without surgery. An MRI combines harmless radio frequency with a magnetic field that act together to provide images without the use of radiation.

Preparing For Your MRI

-Wear clothing with no metal: no zippers, metal buttons, etc

-Metal-free clothing will be provided for your convenience

-Do not wear watches, jewelry, hair clips or metal hair extensions

-Let us know if you have braces or any medical or dental implants

-Secure lockers are available for wallets, phones, etc

-Each scan will last between 30-45 minutes

-Expect to be very still during your scan

-A parent or guardian must accompany minor patients

-Claustrophobia is rarely an issue with our open machine

-Your report(s) will be sent to your doctor within 24-48 hours

-You are welcome to fill out your registration below to expedite your experience
